Sorry I have not gotten back to you guys sooner, I was up north at hunting camp for a week or two.

I bought the car in 2004. It had been sitting in a shed since 79.

things I have done:
5 rustspots fixed
3" cowl hood
new front fenders
primer and paint
install a 289 and 4speed (out of my 67 coupe)


things to do:
get my 393 built and installed
get the turbo setup and running
install a my 5-speed (I won it arm wrestling a friend)
4-wheel diskbrakes
rebuild suspension

I am sure I am forgetting some of the little things that I had to do. Thank you all for the great comments. It makes all the late nights and busted knuckles worth it.

Black is a tough colour

that Black looks awesome, nice stang bud. I LOVE stock looking 2+2's (bodywise). The 3" cowl makes a statement.

Are those 17 x 8 TT2's?

I have 17X7's in the front and 17X8's in the rear, and they are Boyd Smoothie 2's.

Front End Work

What's been done up front??? 620 coils, Shelby drop or stock. If not stock, any rubbing with the 17x7's?

Up front it just has the stock worn out springs and old bushings. It rubs a little when I turn into my driveway to fast, but I think alittle fender rolling and rebuild will make it go away.

What I want to do is the shelby drop, not sure what coils yet, and get a good set of adjustable shocks. To set it up for the Texas Mile.
