Next find.. Are these any good? in terms of handling AND traction?

The treadwear rating is pretty good..prolly last 20k miles I guess. I am looking for something to put the power to the road and stay stock looking..any I would like to think our cars can match the low end traction/acceleration of something like an sti with these.. no?

Not sure on how long they will last, but for the price I'd go with the Nitto's.

I haven't used either tire, bu t I'd be worried that the channels in the Nitto would grab cracks in the road and try to yank the wheel away. The Kumho's I had for a while had one large channel down the middle, and I had to keep a tight hold on the wheel.

A RWD monster using street tires is gonna provide the traction of an AWD vehicle?


No way.



With the torque you're making i dont see any of those providing much traction. A tire that will provide it will be a slick/drag radial. Not a summer tire.
