I would agree with bigcat, gears would be a good choice.
I have a manual tranny and went with 4.10s. Lovin it, not sure why the 4.30s but bigcat knows what hes talking about. Good luck

the RPM difference between 4.10 and 4.30 is so minimal. almost nobody takes my advice and gets the 4.30s, but they do get the 4.10s. cant go wrong either way.

If you want a little more horsepower under drive pullies will give you 8-10 horse power... Gears are good for taking off faster. A good pair of Lower Control Arms will get rid of the annoying wheelhop and ride smoother. Or go with all three!

When they long tube headers arnt for sale on emission controlled vehicles do they mean that they will make you fail the test when stick that meter thing in your tail pipe or are shops sopposed to "watch" for them in thier visual inspection?

In order:
4.10, Pulleys, LCA, Torque Converter. Everyone forgets the Torque Converter seeing as us Auto guys are only a small fraction of the population.

baylor2010, it depends on the states emmision requirements, some only use the sniffer, and some have a visual check. if your state uses the visual check, and the cats are not in their original location, you can fail on the spot. check with your local emissions station and see what they do when they inspect. states vary enough that it is hard to give specific advice. we dont have emissions testing in nebraska.

In my state all they do is plug into the obd-2 and check for emission codes. When my '05 was an auto it was at 3000rpm's @80mph with 4.10 gears.
