why, when i put the plug in, they have a copper top, but when i take them out, the copper top is missing. I noticed this yesterday. 7 of the plugs, that i put in exactly a year ago, were missing the copper top. The one plug that blew and i replaced it 3 months ago, still had the copper top on it. Where in the heck is the top going??? I looked in the COP and didnt see a thing.. i must be blind or stupid, but i thought it was weird. Is there any reason for this?

PIC: How it looks when new (copper top on):

sry bout the crap camera.. but u get the idea

hmm.. so i wonder than, where IS that tip going? since 7 were missing, and i didnt see any of them.

thats good to know tho that it dont matter, but still kinda weird. thanks randy for takin the time (and for that order last week) :flag:

when they say copper plugs its not the connector thats copper... its teh electrode and conductor inside the plug... i think the connector is tin or something lol

ohh.. well that clears up the fact that nothing is being harmed by that, i still just think its wierd that the connector dissapeared. haha.. anyways, it runs great so who cares.. btw, i really like the .38 gap, it feels strong
