Nice place to buy a oil catch cannister / separator 32 bucks shipped.

Been having problems with new engine sucking up oil through pcv, sucking up ALOT of oil, so I did a search on ebay and found this:

I figured its only 32 bucks, looks like its nice quality, so I bought it. Just received it a few days ago (fast shipping) and its very nice quality. Looks exactly like steeda separator, heck it might even be exactly like it. The only thing bad was it didnt include any mounting hardware, so I just fabricated a "L" bracket to bolt it to the plastic wall (above the firewall). 32 bucks, beats steeda's 50 bucks (w/o shipping I guess).

Havent installed it, waiting for this weekend or whenever I get time.


Oh ya, obviously you can go to walmart to get the cannister, but if your in my boat where walmart employees had no idea what I was talking about, this is the easiest route

It IS a nice unit, I run one on my car, except I got mine at WalMart for $15 - it's by the air compressor tools, Campbell Housfeld makes it... It's made for water seperation in an air line.

Let us know how it works out. I was curious if those separators actually work especially on a N/A car.

if you live near a home depot they sell the husky brand seperators for about $10 and the fittings you need are in the same spot as the seperators (all in the air tool section)

Im all for making your own to save $$, but that's not a bad price is youre too lazy to do it.

stops the intake from sucking up oil threw the PCV valve... pretty common problem on our stangs
