Sounds great man, awesome progress.

As far as the sound of the cams, they will sound the way they do now for as long as they're on the car. There's no real "break in" on a mod motor for cams. The Prochamber could be making them a little less aggressive, but overall they are a mild sounding cam.

thanks mazen!

the car has been down since october but the build only took about 3 weeks because i had an awesome hook up..my step dads friend is an all ford guy and builds sick ass mustangs and lightnings so he helped me the whole way through the build...so basically there was always at least 1 person working on something on the car...there was only a few days where the car just sat... like when i had to wait on the damn cam gears and when i was sick...man im glad it didnt take any longer..

ill still be posting stuff on this build thread cause i still have a lot to do..im gonna be throwing a ton on suspension on this car and i got a few other things up my sleeve that will come out in the next couple weeks/months

out of neccessity i just had to swap out c.o.p's... i called ford they wanted $92.58 each for the motorcraft ones...fuuuggg that..so i looked up what we had in stock at work and all we had in my store were the crappy accels...really didnt want to buy them but it was either get them for $11 a peice or wait a really long time for msd's or wome weapon x's...id rather have went with weapon x but like i said it was out of neccessity so i got the accels...

i was scared at first of having them and the second one i pulled out of the box i had to fix the prongs to get them to plug into the harness and i really hate yellow things..but i plugged them in, they dont look too bad and they actually are working quite well... so far...

took these randomly and kinda liked how they looked

I have heard a mix of reviews on the Accells. How did you get them for $11 a piece?!? I this your hookup price, or is that some kind of insane sale price? lol.

Either way, glad it's still doing good... engine bay looks nice!

i get insane discount prices...thats really the only reason i got them..and thanks

the review i heard too were leaning towards the negative and 4 out of 5 times we sell them to someone they end up having to bring at least 1 coil back from them being bad...for once i was lucky and didnt have something go bad

Your car looks so sweet and sounds great!

How does it drive with the new cams? Any idle/surge issues?

thanks man

it drives ok..before the new c.o.p's i was getting a lot of stumbling while cruising/going through gears.. now it barely does it and when it does its very minimal...if i try and baby the car it actually drives kinda crappy...if i put a little foot into it it drives amazing! Idles great too

cant wait to get a tune and get the stumbling issues worked out

what do you all think i will make after the tune?

started a little project the other day..now that i have to take the interstate to work my hood has been shaking a lot more at highway speeds and being that it was scaring the hell outa me and i dont feel like buying a new winshied i bought some hood pins...and put them in... REVERSE!!!!!!

took a little bit to figure out how to do it with the stock grill but i got it done...had to cut the hood pin down to a shorter size as well too...it looked retarded at first with the bolt as long as it was but now that i resized the bolt it looks better.. i only have one in at the moment..wanted to get it right before i started the other side..im gonna sand the bolts down and paint them black to try and make them less noticeable too

couple pics before i cut the bolt

the hole i had to drill

shortened bolt

steaalthy, cant even see it

if i didnt tell you about it, you'd never know it was there...i attached the lanyard to the pin too to help pull the pin out better...might be a strange ass idea but at least it kept me from having to put the pins through the top of the hood....i really dislike that look a lot

suspension is up next..starting to get all that stuff in my hands!

just a little update

getting my car tuned by pat at sniper on wed. Any guesses on what ill put down?

also my suspension is all starting to come in. as of right now in my possession are

MM swaybar endlinks(front)
Swaybar bushings(front)
Steeda X2 balljoints
Steeda bumpsteer
MM hypercoil springs for coilovers in the front, 475lb

on the way

MM sport front coilover kit (MM sport strut for coilovers)

debating on MM road race LCA's and going coilover in the rear or just sticking with the spring and shock set up with adj. LCA's.. what you all think

soon to be ordered will be tubular A arms as well..ill post pics up later tonight when i get home if its not still pouring outside
