nitrous and AFR questions

im used to dealing with RX-7s concerning nitrous in whcih wet systems are usually the better choice above 50hp shots.

now im a stanger, what's typically better for, lets say, a 100hp shot? what if i wanted something bigger?

that brings me to my next question: how do stangs usually run in terms of air/fuel ratio? rx-7's a naturally pig rich, are we more balanced, rich or lean?

If you are not lean N/A and you use a wet kit, say an NX, then there won't be any AF problems if you run the correct jets. If you run above a 125 shot you may need a fuel pump to deliver enough fuel. Some run up to 150 that I've seen with no problems, but you are getting close and may lean out . Get a dyno tune after the kit and see where the AF is . Do not go by some pretty AF guage and expect to be accurate.

so do mustangs run abit on the rich side or lean side?

i ask only out of curiousity, i dont go by AFR gauges unless theyre wideband connected or dyno tuning.

that would depend on tune or mods. If you has some aftermarket MAF housing, it may be a little lean. If you change to free flowing exaust you may have the opposite. They do not run pig rich or lean normally. Without a wideband you will not know.
