i have a paxton novi 1000. and i am running that, on factory 115,000 mile, 1993 block, with hypereuritic piston.
i am currently at about 6 psi
i just picked up a wet nitrous kit, and i am wondering, if i can run it.
what shot should i run.
thanks

with your setup I would be woried about 2 things, piston ring endgap (butting rings sucks) and your not going to have a hole lot of safty factor streagth wise so your tune is going to need to be dead on.

what wet kit did you get? I am not a fan of those single fogger nozzel in the air intake tube things. They make less power and are more likely to backfire

not a fan of wet kit , they make less power ??? my buddies car has a NOS wet kit , with cast iron gt40s , E cam , typhoon intake , stock injectors and MAF and 190lph pump , it put down 359 rwhp and 498 rwtq and the best run to date with 3.73 gears is a 7.32 at 97mph in the eighth ........and it doesnt backfire unless he misses a gear , air fuel is dead on 12.1 on the nitrous running stock fuel pressure and a 65 nos jet and 36 fuel jet if anybody wants to know ....its carrying the wheels about 4 feet about 2 inches off the ground on stock suspension

you are right it would be better to just get a proper plate for between the upper and lower intake. i don't know if they make more power but you would be getting a better mix of the nos and the fuel to each cylinder. my question is why would you run nitrous aswell as a supercharger? why not just dial the boost up a little. can't that thing run a different pulley?

exactly

The reason you make more power is this. N2O makes power two ways; by adding extra oxgen to burn in the combustion chamger and by cooling the intake air. The cooling comes from what is called "the latent heat of varporisation" which means when liquid goes to vapor it draws in energy(heat) and makes everything cold. If you have your phase change way up at the top of your intake manifold you are losing out on some power, to get max power get the N2o phase changing as close to the combustion chamber as possible.
