Okay here is a short break down of some of the problems I had with MSD window switch/tach driver/ and raptor performance shift light installs
First I connect tach driver and window switch as instructed. Nothing works. Try different combos of this and never get it to work so I ditch the tach driver and connect window switch to ECU signal. Works great.
Second install shift light. Connect tach signal lead to ECU signal also. Doesn't work. Disconnect window switch. Shift light starts working. Contact raptor performance Friday and let them know about the problem. Mean while I decide to try a few things this weekend cause I got my bottle filled and my new pills in and want to try the 125 shot.
So I get the tach driver back out and rewire it. Played around with the shift light for a while and finally got it to work with the tach driver. had to set the shift light on 2 cylinder mode. (I am assuming since I tapped of the right bank coil pack coil positive wire). Also assume this is why I never could get the window switch to work with the tach driver since there is no 2 cylinder setting on the window switch. Only 4,6, and 8.
As of right now everything works great except I have a known problem with the shift light. I have the erratic flashes a few other people have allready posted about.
Raptor performance also replied to my inquiry about the window switch problem and said they would work it and I could try putting a diode in line of the tach signal. Probably not going to try this since it finally all works but someone might if the have this problem.
Oh yeah sprayed the 125 this weekend on stock timing and stock plugs. No problems at all. Dumped clutch at about 3500. Spun through first hit second and hooked. Loved it. I have 285 tires on the back and still got the 2.73s. So I defiantly need some gear!
Hope this helps someone.
