holy sh1t....your lucky you didn't puddle the intake with a 200 shot! How long did you spray it with that shot?

50-about 130 lol bottle pressure 1100psi and sprayed about 3500rpm in 3rd and ran through 3rd and 4th.

u wanna know what the hand of god feels like well its right there

car ran really well. just pulled out even more timing and added more fuel with the predator and she was fine. i was slammed in the seat pretty good when i hit it. my mouth was dry after doing it too lol. The nitrous express plate kits come with jets up to a 300 shot. fuel puddling occurs in a few ways a system too lean or poorly atomized fuel or a system that is too lean.

When the 200 hp shot hit @ 3500 RPM that should have spiked the torque at about 600.

I would stay under 125 hp on stock internals , focus pump is also a good idea

see how i am looking at it is i can setup the controller to slowly add more and more nitrous into the motor as teh rpms increase instead of all at once. so i can maybe start at like 60% and then increase throughout the rpm range and be at 100% by like 4500 or so.

so i was just wondering if u guys thought this logic would help out the longevity of the motor. or at least allow me to run a bigger shot of nitrous longer before she lets go.

I honestly don't agree with your logic, but I don't have a real good arguement to back it up...
To me, a progressive controller is for BIG shots of juice or multi-stage applications. For most of us, a WOT and window switch is all you need. My 125HP shot hits well, but I don't spray in 1st gear, so tire spin is not an issue.
I don't think the progressive controller would really buy you any insurance on your motor (as much as watching your AFR and reading your plugs will do).

Best of Luck!

You can run the 150 shot with no problem, but there is less room for error. You can run a 100 shot slightly lean, or with slightly to much timing and be ok. But when you increase nitrous those limits become tighter and tighter. Do it but get wideband or dyno tune to make sure it's on the money.

yea ill spray the 150 but i am going to cam the car and put headers on it. My plan is to run 12s on motor and then run in the 11s on spray.

I am getting a wideband here soon and then changing over my tuner to the sniper stuff so i can do a little bit more. Ill also upgrade the fuel pump and then eventually i will put new rods and pistons in it.

K, just keep in mind that with header installs they almost always leak. Exhaust leaks will **** with your a/f reading on the wideband, so make sure you get em sealed up good.
