Hey Guys, I am looking at getting the Zex Wet Kit and was wondering what I will need? Should i get new injectors to go along with the kit? Should i get a tune to make it safer on my car? Any help would be great.

well i dont know too much, but i would suggest a flip chip that allowed you to switch where you can use the nitours tune or use your stock tune, i would also recommend a one stage colder sparkplug..im sure others will chime in

MSD window switch, one step colder plugs, fuel pressure saftey switch and a bottle warmer. You wont need new injectors since its a wet kit. And if you go over a 100hp you will need to back some timing off.

I would recommed going with a NX kit they are very good and easy to install, definetaly go one step colder plugs (I'm using Autolite's 103s), if you are going to spray 75-100shot a tune wouldn't be need it (but with your mods is a good idea since it will extract horsepower, try SCT flip-switch), just make sure you run premium fuel. Thats all I can tell you for now, if I remember something else will post it.

Yup thats the kit I use.

Also no matter what kit you have do not get greedy. Thats when bad things happen.

I have been running awsf-22c plugs for two years without a problem N/A. So I am using awsfa-12c with my wt kit. FYI for a basic NX wet kit you are better off using the stock tune and dumping the JET module. Wet kits inject the correct amount of N2O and fuel so your a/f should not go lean. Don't mess with injectors, MAF, tune, etc... unless you really know what you are doing. With a wet kit you really need a fuel pressure shutoff switch and a window switch oh yea cooler plugs. Thats it... to start off with. You have to be very carefull with some of the info you receive on forums.

I have the following setup:
NX wet EFI kit
Purge
Bottle heater, transducer, & gauge
Fuel pressure shutoff switch (hobbs switch)
MSD digital window switch
Dynojet wideband commander O2 sensor/gauge
Autometer Dual Gauge Pod
AWSFA-12C plugs
180 deg thermostat
Diablosport Predator

Would the nitrous kit work better if you did have a tune made by people who knew what they were doing? (SCT for example? :D)

Nitrous is actually very simple. There are several rules that if broken = broken car.

Don't go lean keep it 11-12 a/f
Don't run any more timing than stock (1-2 deg retard per 50hp would not hurt)
No detonation allowed (1 or 2 step cooler spark plugs recommended, copper always)

There are many different ways these things can happen.

I would not trust a mail order (dry) nitrous tune from anyone. If the car was on the dyno that is a different story. A tune for a wet system is very similar to the stock tune except maybe a little richer at WOT and a little less WOT timing. NX wet kits recommend using the stock tune...
