Nitrous installed and used.

First off I started with the 50hp jets(wet kit btw), it was very noticeable, but not what I was looking for. So two mintues later I was putting the 90hp jets in.....What a blast that was! :D Never been in a Nitrous car or had it before, and it was amazing pull. My question is has anyone had any experience with or heard much about the MSD digital rpm activated window switch? I can get it at O'rellieys for $120 and I like the window switch idea.

if you think a 90 is strong...put in a 125...the difference is night and day, as for the MSD switch, its on my list of things to buy, but you can get it cheaper than $120...search around some.

Well I can charge it to my parents buisness account there and not pay a dime, so thats why I would get it there.

I have that exact window switch and it works perfectly! Here's a little tip-you don't need to buy the MSD rpm pills to set the rpm range. Just buy ordinary resistors from Radio Shack. To get the rpm you want just subtract 1000 and use that resistor. (2500 rpm=1500 ohms,5500 rpm=4500 ohms, etc) I added it to my nitrous system right off the bat because if you screw up and hit the rev limiter,it will shut off the fuel supply and you'll run pure nitrous into the motor. Then it goes BOOM!!

Cool!! I never knew that!!:nice:

the RPM window switch is great. Had it on my other RX-7 with a nitrous system.

I would suggest sticking with the pill instead of resistors, just safer when you're using the "right" things on a product especially electronics.

the digital one is nice, but im not sure if its a window switch. if not, you'll need two of them - one for nitrous on and nitrous off. if it comes in digital window form, then thats the better way to go as pills come in packs of 6 in 200rpm incriments, cant buy them individually.

For what it's worth,in 3 years of use I"ve NEVER had an issue using the resistors. Keep in mind I'm in Canada and a pill pack costs about $60 so I was more inclined to do it as cheaply as possible.
