Nitrous kits. What are the best choices?

Ok, so i'm looking into getting a nitrous kit for my car. I already had a Universal 6cyl NOS fogger system for my car but I never used it, so I couldn't tell you how it was. Basically what i'm looking for is some help on which ones to concider, 'cause when I bought my last kit I just kinda bought whatever but since i'm going to actually use this one i'd like to know what's what. I know there was a thread awhile back about nitrous kits but I couldn't find it. So, let me know what you guys think would be best fit for my car. I know about nitrous and I know what it does and all that, but i'm not sure on which would be best for our cars and all that computer stuff, so help me out with this one.

zex or venom would be two of my top picks if they make their kits for stangs....both are computer controlled....i.e. no burn downs.

That's what I was thinking. I was thinking of going Venom, I know they make theres for stangs but I don't know if they make ones for 6'ers.

Somebody's got the need for speed(and I'm not talking about the drug, but with worked you never know). Just wondering how often will you your ur nitrous? Is it really worth it? I'd say spend that money on a supercharger but to each there own.

... Yeah, your right. Between my "Cocain nosejob"nand my "MDMA is the only way to fly" sigs, I guess you never know. MUUAHAHAHAHA!

Umm, anyway. I'd use it a decent amount, I go to the track alot but I don't run my car alot but with that i'd probably run it a little more often and the ocassional spary across the *Cough* Howard Franklin Bridge *Cough*

No, anything but the 50. Actually that would suck to get caught racing. Well, I don't know how much "faster" it'll make me. It's not really someting that you get and you just slap on your car, you have to have a few things somewhat built for it and you should get a decent tune for it (to be safe), but if I have to guess on how much faster it'd make me... well, i'm not really sure. if I go with a 50 - 75hp shot then i'm going to say that there will be a pretty big difference, but anything higher i'll probably saty away from. So just to guess I would say that my hp as of right now is about 200rwp give or take 5-10hp (i'm not sure what my hp and tq numbers are right now since I haven't gotten it dynoed in a while) but that's just a guess.

is that the skyway bridge? between st pete's and tampa?

I freakin love it down there....we go every second year and my parents go every year! florida rocks!

as for nitrous...can't go wrong with the venom...you change all the parameters for your app...so you should be safe.

Go with Nitrous Express. I have been running a 75-100 shot without any problems.

You do not have to get a tune or anything fancy. It is the best on teh market and great customer service.

Install was simple with basic hand tools.

I ran the best of 14.2 @98 with the 75 shot.

Have not been back with the 100 but want to break the 100 mph and hopfully with some DR and a good launch maybe high 13's!

No, the howard Franklin bridge connects Tampa to ST. Petersburg and the Skyway Bridge connects ST. Petersburg to Brandenton etc. The Howard Franklin Bridge is 8 lanes wide and about 3 or 4 miles longer than the Skyway Bridge. But yeah, Florida does ROCK!

Thats 5 that say NX and 3 that say Venom. A 14.2 is pretty good, waht else do you have done to your car, other than Intake, catback exhaust, etc? Like do you have any Porting/Polishing done? T-lok? Gears (if so what size)? SOrry for the Q's but i'mjust currious as to what i'll be running and I don't know any other V6 the runs Nitrous on here.

NO P/P but have 3.73's and all the basic bolt ons. I have not run it yet at the track with the 100 shot but will real soon hopefully!

Cool 100hp is a big difference, you should be in the 13.7 range after that. How are your internals and spark plugs holding up? Any sign of you runnging lean or possible detonation?
