I want to cap the T and remove the line that's on there right now. What's the best route to take is it just pretty much maybe remove the line and get another T and chop it off right at the underbody?

How much fuel will be in the lines? Is it pretty much just like if you're changing the fuel filter and if you pull the fuse, switch it on it should depressurize the line so you can mess with it?

Remove the line at the tee and put a cap on it.

JMF Company 5/16 in. Compression Brass Cap Mfr# 4503538 - Ace Hardware

Alternate packaged ACE # 4501045Find the CAP 5/16 COMP BRS at Ace.

No need to pull a fuse if you keep the key out of the ignition. Fuel quantity wise you might be looking at a pint?

I'm going to check and make sure the tee it's nice and tight. Is there any reason to worry about that tee failng at some point? At least if there is any leak from if that's an issue potentially at any point down the road at least it's under the car and not under the hood

The previous owner put a nitrous line on the car and it's tied to the fuel line and it's tied in right on the passenger side right near the fender well as it starts to make the turn up toward the car along the body. If you look at the images that's where it's tied to I'm going to get rid of that line and I want to do the safest thing to assure there's no leaks in the future.
Aerocoupe made a good suggestion

I could not find a "T" in any of those images which is why I'm lost.

Also, except for the one running to the solenoid, the lines in the images look factory.

So... Don't mind me. It looks like Aerocoupe is picking up what you're putting down.

If you look at the pictures of the underbody if you look at the line that's running to the right I mean if you look close enough you see the line that's running to the right so that line that's running to the right that's not a factory line. it is running from a t right at that very spot but you cannot see the tee because of the fender liner trimming

It’s been on there for years so it’s fine. I had unions on my fuel lines for 20+ years and they never leaked. When I swapped the car to a V8 I already had subframe connectors on it so cutting the lines in half made life easier.

The only thing is it's kind of ugly sitting in there in the engine bay and it's also kind of in the way where I got to put the CC plates. Not necessarily in the way as and I won't be able to get the CC played on but it's just unnecessary to be in the engine bay lol.

Should have been more clear. I was taking about the Tee. Remove the solenoid and line to the Tee and cap the Tee. Just check it periodically and you will be good.

If it is a compression fitting (like the one coming out of the solenoid) --and-- in a location that it hard to get eyes on, it is perfectly acceptable to put a dot of Blue Loctite on the threads to keep it from vibrating loose.

Make it tight but do [not] torque the out of it. You'll ruin the fitting.

yeah I will make sure the tee is tight still and when I cap it i'll add a little loctite. I might remove the tee an just put loctite on and refasten the whole thing; i'll inspect.

Maybe but the solenoid would need to be rebuilt. I there all of my NX solenoids away and bought new when I went from a plate to a fogger. Newer technology and it was more than 50% of the cost of a new solenoid to rebuild my old ones.

Won’t hurt to post it for sale in the classifieds.

At work I have a ferrule cap and a jig cap. I know we have many ferrule's that have a hole to accept a plastic line but not sure if we have a solid that I can use as a cap. Will a jic cap work (it's a hydraulic line cap)? That's if the tee is even a ferrule. Just googling I see they make 8AN tee's so not sure exactly what's on there

Not sure about a JIC. I know the compression fitting caps are at Home Depot or Lowe’s.

it seems it should be ok to use. I guess after I put on and there are no leaks when I switch the key on I should be good; but I'll keep an eye on
