from what i understand if you have stock injectors you shouldn't go over 125 with the zex kit, cuz stock one's won't keep up and when you ping you'll blow sht up!!!

What do you have for mods? With a 150 shot, you're gonna need bigger injectors, different spark plugs, retard the timing a couple degrees, a beefier fuel pump, and an AFPR. I think thats about it. I would upgrade the ignition too.

And make sure someone around you can fill nitrous tanks. I was dead set on NOS until I did some research and couldn't find anyone within 45 minutes that could fill the tank.

(If anyone knows of a shop within 45 mins of worcester, mass let me know!)

Zex is a good system. Start on a low level though. I ran the 75 shot for 6 months or better. It was enough to beat stock z28s. Get colder plugs, close your gap to .35 instead of .05, drop the timing, make sure you have an adjustable fuel regulator so you can bump up the pressure, and personally I would try not to run above 100 shot on the stock injectors with a dry kit.

Take it SLOW... My kit was my first attempt at nitrous. My engine has 174,000 miles on it and still going strong. And I've gone through A LOT of juice.

well my mods basically include.. 3.73's, mac off-road x, magnapack catback, low temp thermostat, hurst short shifter, bbk equal length shorties, king cobra clutch, nitto 555r 275-40-17's, umm underdrives (maybe?) came with the car but ive replaced some of the units that might have had the pullies on them so i don't really know anymore about those, umm sounds about it.. removed air silencer.. thats about all i can think of at the moment... so you guys think under a 100 shot? on stock injectors and fuel pump?

the svt team said a 125 to notice a difference and any more can spin your main bearings if over 80thous miles.

At least you are letting everyone know that it's someone elses opinion. Let me throw this at you. 100-125 shot is 25 HP difference at the crank. What's that 10-15hp at the wheels or some weird number. Trust me you'll notice the 75 shot, you'll notice the 100 shot, and you'll notice the 125 shot. You'll notice when you turn it on, and you'll notice when the bottle runs out.

It ALL makes a difference. Here, the vids are old and at night, but here is what happened the first night on the 75 shot at the track:

15.07 to a 13.87 on street tires.... the 75 shot makes a difference. If you are new to nitrous, I HIGHLY recommend you take your time. Run the small shot, learn how much timing and fuel you need to keep it from detonating, then go to the 100 shot, try that for a while, again testing how much you can get out of your timing. Check your plugs, see how it's handling the shot. I run mine on 91 octane. 93 is hard to find in the area I live in. You can safely run on it if you listen to your motor and shut down when it detonates. Drop the timing, or bump the fuel, and try it again on the next run.

i cant change my fuel pressure, i dont have a programmer or a fuel pressure regulator so im stuck at the stock FP. as for timing, stays at stock 10*...125 shot hasnt detonated yet on 94 octane (Sunoco has that in ohio ) i jumped to 100 shot and it took me from a 15.2 to a 14.3 (on street tires, you dont want to know how much tirespin i had, plus my shift points were f-ed up and i was hitting the limiter on juice) That did blow my transmission though, so that sucks. Just be careful and listen for detonation,
