anyone running an o/r X or H get pulled over by the police?

If so, what happened? Did they notice/make any mention of your lack of cats?

hey Mike, i was running an off road hpipe with flowmaster 40's and never got pulled over by the state or local police. i had to remove them for inspection though. now i can't find a shop to put my offroad pipe back on. i don't have the tools to do it either. i'll just keep lookin until i find someone who wants to do the job.

I cant imagine any cop taking the time out of his day to crawl on the ground to look at your exhaust.

prob not but i imagine he would be able to smell it.

i never had an o/r pipe, obviously, but from what i hear there is a strong odor that goes with them that would be somewhat easily identifiable.

also i believe tickets for not having cats are quite expensive so it may behoove him to write a (insert large amount ticket here) ticket.
