NMRA Opening Week

Just wondering if anyone is going to the NMRA opening weekend? I'll be there on the 6th of March. It would be nice to meet anyone if they are going. Should be fun as if has for the past couple years for me. Its in Brandenton, Florida. At Desoto Raceway??Something like that.

i want be at that one but i am going to the one in georgia.

went to the track today and there was alot of stangs there getting ready for the open day. theres around 10 or so there running getting ready. some very quick cars to.
there was this one very nice looking hatch. i wish i would have got the guys name but i loved that car.
it was a nice looking blue with some chrome fr500's on it. was running mand h on the back. also was running slicks for some of the passes. not sure what the motor was in it but did have a vortech s/c on it. ran a 9.9xx on slicks and a 10.xxx on radials. very nice guy, but he was busy with car so i didn't get to talk to him like i wanted to.

I'd love to be there but it ain't gonna happen. Going to drive down from Canada for the Milan weekend I think though........

I won't make the bradinton race, but i'll be at atco, z-max and maple grove(nmca) for sure to run True Street.

id love to go back to that race but it looks like ill be missing all of them this year since my girlfriends birthday is the same weekend as atco.

we always go to the finals in bowling green every year. there really is nothing like seeing 10k+ mustangs packed into one spot.

Dang it. Oh well, I can't go to any other ones. But seeing a ton of mustangs in one place is pretty amazing!

oh yea it get's so packed where it's the last event of the year the city is literally overran with mustangs for a entire week. also the corvette museum and plant is right there. not to mention all the college girls out and about from western ky university

Which week is that? College girls? I need to get my plane ticket.

Bowling Green is a great time. Nothing like waiting in line for 45 minutes with thousands of Stangs doing burnouts the whole time back that two lane road.

As the final event, this is not only one of the NMRA's oldest, but hands down the largest. tell her you'll get her a birthday pizza or something from sally star's down the street. Atco is one race I never miss!

Man you guys are so lucky! Although me and DNA DOA flew back to ohio for the race in 2007!We were all gonna fly to florida for this race but i dont think thats happening now But this KY race sounds good! Maybe i'll see some of you there? peace
