i got a 95GT and im pretty sure the tensioner is bad since when i rev it up the tensior jumps quite a bit then the belt will move and a rib will go past the outside of the smog pump. im getting a new tensioer tomorrow and got to thinking...i have no emissions or anything so i can take the smog off and re-route the belt. then i was like...i have the a/c but its not charged and i have no problem rolling down the windows like im doing now. im going to leave the a/c on the car but just reroute around it. can anyone draw me up a diagram of how i need to route the belt to bypass the a/c and smog pump? that would be very appreciated! and if you have belt lengths i would be forever debted to you! i can always to the string and trial & error method if i needed to.

Not quite what you need but you can look at the pulley locations on the pictures and might can work something out.

Id get it recharged. Down here in Opelousas its 101* today and it supposed to get about 107* later this week. I would also change the valve cores on the nozzles too. My low pressure side has been slowly leaking. when its almost all leaked out, Ill change the core and refill it.

134a. If it's been empty a while, you should get it vacuumed out and checked for leaks otherwise you'll just be spinning your wheels so to speak.

Yea, def gat it vacuumed out first. I did mine on my truck a while back, vacuumed it out, filled it, then had a valve core on the high pressure side break. So make sure those are good too.

ok ill have to do that. btw i noticed that the smog pump was missing a bolt (pushing to fast to get car finished) and was making the belt move and not the tensioner. so i got all that fixed. the pump has the tube sticking up and it blows air out of it since nothing is hooked up to it. i wonder if i could run a hose from it to the fenderwell and get some cold air in there...i think of some crazy stuff lol
