NO BELT TENSIONER??

Look at the part i have circled, the lower allternato bolt. Looks like whoever did that broke that braket and homejobbed some sleeve and stuck it in there. Anyone else see what Im seeing?

I dont know if that bracket can be welded, and even if it could, you would be better off just getting a new bracket WITH a belt tensioner off of a junk car. If you weld and fix it you still have the problem of having no belt tensioner.

This way you can fix 2 problems at the same time, and it will be cheaper then having that welded.

The bracket may be broken but the sleeve is the responsibility of Ford. It comes that way from the factory. My '92 has the exact same sleeve.
