I'm not to worried about it but here it goes. My cruise control dosen't function and when I turn it on and set the speed the horn blows, WTF!!!! scared the **** out of me the first time it happened. I checked the wires I couldn't find any ground outs. I haven't tried pushing the horn to set the speed though. maybe that'll work :rlaugh:

My cruise control went out about 4 months after i first bought my car, i checked all the fuses and they all looked fine. I took it to the dealer and they fixed it under warranty, the tech said it was a "hidden" fuse behind the dash i had blown, i was/am confused about the location of the "hidden" fuse.

The horn and cruise control share common wires to the steering wheel switches. This was done to reduce the number of wires in the "clockspring".
Try the horn and all of the cruise control switches one at a time and tell us what happens. I need some more clues to figure out what might be wrong.
I am thinking your cruise control rocker switch may be stuck in the ON position or shorted.

do you have billet switches? When I put mine on the horn would honk if I pressed in the center of the one piece button, I fixed it, it doesnt honk any more, theres a rubber piece under the switch that was missing.

I dont use my cruis control so I dont know if it works, but the horn doesnt honk now.
