I got everything together. I couldnt get the car up high enough to wrestle the right side pipe out so I could cut that huge bracket off it.

I also would have had problems cutting the y-pipe.

I have access to a lift, but only during the week when it isnt being used by the shop owner. He has been pretty busy so I dont know when I can get in there.

I will think about it on Sunday, maybe my best option is to haul everything down to a shop and have them install it for me.

I did get the front GT swaybar installed. PITA

Do you know any servicemembers and are there any bases in your area? If so, get them to take you to the Auto Hoby shop. Some will frown upon bringing cars that are not owned by the military member, but you can probably swing it "just this one time," and some don't even check, especially if Capt. Fantatsic is the one driving it in.

As a retired military man, I do have access. The nearest facility is North of Memphis, about 2 hours from here. They usually dont allow any work that makes sparks.

I work Monday night so I have all day to figure it out. I had all 4 wheels about 17 inches off the ground on jack stands today, still couldnt get the rightside pipe out, or the leftside pipe over the axle.

I guess if it was easy it wouldnt be worth doing.

I'm willing to bet you could get a shop to do it for under $150 considering you have all the piping and no bending will be required. Maybe even a $100. Not trying to make it more expesnive, but it might be a whole lot simpler for you to go this route.

i did my exhasut with just ramps under the rear. i also needed to raise one side of the front a bit to get additional clearance to get the pipes over the axle. it can be done in the driveway, but you need some creative ingenuity to get it done. once i had the front up a bit, the pipes fell out and back in too.
