I have FFRP 4.10's sitting in my room. I have a line on a Speedcal from a friend, and I'm waiting on my next paycheck to order the install kit....master bearing kit....T-lok rebuild kit....and looooob. Oh, and a squirt of friction modifier.

I'll keep everyone posted. I wonder if my stock clutch will finally go out.....hmmmmmm.

Let us know how it goes. Im anxiously awaiting the install of my 4.30's. Got everything right here except the chip and my new ABS adapter rings for the 31 spline Moser axles.

I have 42k on the stock clutch. 3k on the clutch with the 4.10's. I don't have any problems now, knock on wood. I don't beat on the car bad, but I always do speed shifts. I would get the gears anyway!!!

Actually, I drive like an ass. I just don't do clutch dumps, powershifts or riding it out.

Ah. I just didn't want to give the impression that I was soft on the car.

I don't know as I would classify clutch dumps and powershifting as abuse . . .

I just don't see what gear ratios have to do with clutch longevity. Gears might help destroy a rear end when used with slicks, but not the clutch. Get the gears!
