No headlights/signals after pedal swap

After swapping the brake pedal for the brake/clutch assy neither the turn signals or headlight work. The headlights will come on "bright" by pushing the signal level to the forward position. I've checked all fuses and dropped the steering column back down to verify connections are good. The only unmated connector I've found is a small 3-pin that according to the Chilton wiring diagram is a brake interlock connection. I don't believe it was mated before the swap. All other lights work fine. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Okay I had this problem when i replaced my heater core (yes i am brave) and i found that the steering column can pull wires out of the quik connect sockets so u need to remove steering column shroud and back probe making sure your getting juice. I am 99 percent sure this is your problem.

I tend to agree with this as well. I had one wire pull out of mine, but i was able to slide it back in and with a little tape to hold the harness straight I think it will be fine. I tried to grab the same connector at a junkyard to swap them (kind of a pain to unlock each wire and swap, but makes for a better fix IMO), but it was already broken! Take your time and you'll get it fixed. :nice:
