Hey guys,
I currently cannot get heat to blow through my defroster. I drained the coolant, flushed the heater core and flushed the system using a prestone flush. While I was doing the flush (and running the heat to cycle it), i still could not get heat, but I noticed that my ac compressor was running and the ac lines were ice cold. The water lines goinging into the heater core are hot.
I unplugged the ac and then I got heat. Plugged it back up and lost heat. Any suggestions here? I have tried the heat from start up to when the car is idling in traffic at 200*...still no heat. Unplugging the ac is the first time I have felt heat. I can also turn the knob that controls how hot or cold you want the air, I do get some type of response out of this, but it just goes from cold air to luke warm air.
Thanks in advance!
Joe
