This is what I'll be working on this weekend. I'm installing the SLP LM II cat back with the bullet-type race mufflers and some rear lower control arms.

I'm worried it might be to loud after looking at the mufflers. they are pretty much straight through and I have an O/R x pipe.

It is loud. After a few months, I went back to the flows. Been trying to sell the SLP stuff for the last couple weeks. They are very nice, well crafted pieces. I really didnt mind the "loud", but in the end the rasp got me. High RPM, and heavy load between 2,000 - 3,000 rpm produced quite an annoyance. I hope you have better luck with the o/r x, I was using an o/r H.

At least they are the II's and not the I's. That would be a whole different ballgame. I'm replacing my Magnaflows with the LMII's in the next month. We'll see how loud it is. I have a catted X though. Let us know what you think!

dont be suprised if those LM2's are quieter than the Flows....they are very tame/quiet when new...after a few thousand miles they get decently loud...not crazy loud tho.

OK I couldn't wait until the weekend. I got home from work and went straight to installing.

ShapeShifter I think your right, they don't seems as loud but I like the tone much better. plus the flo masters were dumped at the axle so I'm happy to have the tips back filling in the bumper cuts.

it has a raspy tone but I kinda like that

here is a little tease of what it sounds like.

Nice. Now go find a tunnel and mash the loud pedal through there.

Sounds good so far man! We definitely want some mashed pedal vids too! I'll post some clips once I get mine on as well. Should be two weeks or so.

Sounds good, has a nice tone. I'm running an O/R X with LM1s myself, wakes the dead.
