I went to my speedshop to show him the finished product of my car, and to get a price on a Pro M instead of a C&L just so I'd know, n he said that Pro M went out of business - His direct quote was - "They were such *******s to people that they ended up going out of business" lol I don't really believe that, but if he said they went out of business, they probably did! Anyone else here about this? I guess I'll have to get a used one off ebay or find a newoldstock lol

Sorry if this isn't really considered tech, but it kind of is considering everyone argues who is better C&L or Pro M, now it's gonna have to be C&L by default lol

Thats not the story. Tell your buddy he needs to get it right.

They did go out of business for a while but it wasn't because of the people being *****.

Here is Pro-M's new site.

As I understand it, most of the old employee base started up under a new name. The link from Kevin is the new business.

I have dealt with the "new" Pro-M. They were great. BTW, they hate being referred to as Pro-M (they weren't rude at all about it but they did tell me that).

LOL, it's true. The only real similarities are they they have one of Pro-M's flow bench machines, the guy who wrote the software for them, and several of the old employees. They seem to be applying some better business sense than Pro-M did. With luck, they'll soon get to the point where they are saturating the Mustang market like Pro-M once did. I'm hoping it will be because of a product reliability as opposed to the sheer inexpense of the product they sell. Pro-M used to make a great product but they sold themselves out of business. Once the head guy died, there was no hope for survival.

They're built in the same fashion. Parts are being used from different vendors but the modifications done to calibrate them are basically the same.
