FORD DISCONTINUED THE 96-98 THROTTLE CABLES FOR THE COBRA!!!!! im screwed, anyone have any suggestion on where to find a aftermarket one?

You might want to try www.stangparts.com they should have a used one laying around from all the mustangs they parted out.
