Ok guys see if you can help with this. 91 2.3 auto. Drives with almost no power if you give it more throttle it has almost no responce and a very slow build up of RPMs. When you get to a hill and maintain steady throttle it almost dies and slowly goes up the hill.

I have a memory code 157 MAF voltage low. I probed it and it comes up at .9 volts at idle instead of the .6 the book states. On the hot side pins it says it needs at least 10.5 volts but is showing 13.5 at idle.
Also has EGR insuffient flow bit it does move. I will clean it up and work on it.

Can someone give me a hand with this thing?

Will it rev normally in neutral or just under load?

Could that be a cause for he lean code as well? Or maybe the reason for the EGR Flow?

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

Ok I am going to unplug the exhaust at the cat and see if that helps.

there was a low power TSB that says the MAF gives a bad signal and causes the engine to run lean, i forget if it pulls a code or what the readings are to determin if the MAF is causing it but il find out tomarow
