I recently installed a B&M megashifter, and a transgo shift kit in my C-4. The shifter is completly adjusted. When I shift from first to second, the car stays in first. Basically I have no second gear when shifting manually, but when I leave it in Drive, it will shift. Im going to take out my valve body and take a look at it. What should I look for? What other possibilites are there? Thanks

unless oyu have a manual valve body, most automatics will shift when the governor tells it to. try backing off the throttle slightly when you shift and see if the tranny shifts. if so then things are ok. if not then get into the valve body and clean it out and make sure the valves are not sticking. while you are there install a shift kit.
