No sound! He

Well I just installed my Alpine 9830 after the car sat for the winter. I took out the old HU and I noticed the factory amp for the Premium sound has been removed. Now I hooked the plug up to the correct one and everything powers up ok but I have no sound. When the HU was out I noticed there were about 5 or 6 extra plugs that were all unplugged so I never messed with them. Could this be my problem? Should I try plugging them into one another?

if it has been removed, and they didnt change the wiring at the speakers... then no matter what you put in there will be no sound b/c there is nothing to drive it.

but, quick fix might be to hook up the BLUE w/ WHITE STRIPE wire off the headunit to the amp turn on wire in the car (you can use the solid BLUE wire in the harness you bought)

Just an update. The HU was working in the first place, I just didn't have any sound coming from the speakers. Today I pulled the HU and plugged the extra plugs into each other. Now I have sound! Just gotta get my 6.5s hooked up and I will be set.
