did you check the flashers or just the fuse? the turns and hazards run on different flashers. my bet is your turn flasher is toast... they are in different locations on different cars, but on mine (91 GT also), if you lay on your back on the passenger floor, and look/feel up behind the radio/ control knob area, you'll find it there. its a little plastic blue cannister type dealy, and it's press fit into a mounting bracket. took a bit of force, but it eventually just pulls out. hope that helps...

+1 on the flasher.

Do yourself a favor and get an "electronic flasher" rather than the stock replacement "thermal flasher" its actually timed and controlled and not just based on the size of your bulbs. You get a little extra "click" in the flash, but they last a HELL of a lot longer.

since you hazards still work, i think they're the same flasher and you can swap them and see if that fixes anything to test it. but they're less than $5 and in stock at most auto stores, and i'm pretty sure thats going to be what your problem is...

I had the same problem on my '89 about a month ago. Three bucks and a new flasher took care of it.

your going to warn part number EL12. before you go and buy one, you can just pop the hazard flasher out, which is in the fuse panel, and put it in place of the turn signal flasher. which should be under the steering colmn on the early car, or behind the glove box on the later cars.

right now, do you even have the clicking of the flasher?

i can explain the circuit to you if you want, and tell you whcih wires should have voltage where. i just had to do this on my car a few weeks ago, turns out the power wire that goes into the multifunction switch was bad.

Just ran into this problem yesterday. On my 90 lx, the hazards worked but the indicators were going sloooow mooooo. I found the hazard flasher right in the fuse box under the steering column. And the Indicator flasher was basically to the left of the glove box and behind the center console. If you turn your blinker on you should hear it click. Mine was green and kind of plugged into a metal housing with a small nub. It was green, Wagner 224 I think. The replacement is Wagner 522, the same as the hazards...so yea definitely steal the hazards flasher for now and see if that works
