It happened again tonight!!! driving around and nobody was out, And then I had a camero with racing stripes come up behind me... They pulled next to me at the stop light and then drove like normal. I was waiting to hear the engine rev up or tires squeek before i got on to it... What can you say though it was A girl driving it after i looked back... (man im probalby going to get hammered for saying that. 
)

FINALLY... My first personal receipt for smoked riced!!! This little turbo eclipse which last year showed me that they can be quick by walking away from me at a stoplight got what was coming to him. (I had stock h/c/i at the time).
I was turning at an intersection waiting for the light to go accross traffic when i saw him coming from the other way and turning right.. The SOB actually waited awhile for me to turn. And he was going slowing waiting for me to cetch up to me... Hell he even switched lains so that i wouldn't have too.
Anyway I finally got next to him for a sec and then i dropped it into second. I put 4 car lengths on him almost instantly and put my breaks on... Don't get me wrong we was trying to race too. I turned off directly afterwards. I could just hear the excuses that he would have said... To me other or other ricers:
"Yeah, well your car has more cylinders" - And thats my fault how? Should have bought something better. I wouldn't complain when racing a viper.
"I missed a shift" - Oh well, you still lost... (which i doubt highly)
"the sun reflected off one of my stickers into my eyes" - ..........
"why did you turn off afraid of losing a rematch?" - ...........
Any other good ricer comments out there?

GOT ME ONE! I ran into a guy that had an SS at autozone he was talking bout his mods this and that and when I asked him what it ran he said 11.70.. i said ok and left lol.. I didnt want any part of that. I saw him going down the road later the following week so I said why not... I revved up to him and he purged his nitrous at me!.. im ahhh ok...11.70s must be on nitrous and on the drag radials he was running... So we ran motor for motor and I walked off and left him.. he said ok now I get to spray.. we didnt get to race for long becuase of traffic but we were side by side all way through 2nd and in part of third with him on the bottle... I feel a lot better about my car now.. its so damn quiet with the pipes back on it. Just did a dyno tune today and got 363rwhp and 358tq.... Im hoping they get more out of it. Its really funny cause it sounds stock going down the road.

Yea I recently met a group of pretty cool guys around Utica, NY. Unfortunately they all run civics and integras though, so no talk of mustangs for me. However, they all huddled around my car though after I stomped a supercharged civic si and an integra running a 100 shot running 0-60 and 0-100 runs, so that was cool. Fortunately they all were fans of mustangs as well, but are still in high school and can't afford the insurance. So I give props to some of the guys drivin rice out there that don't talk smack and appreciate fast cars in general (trust me, my car isn't THAT fast either). 
Hey i live in Lafayette Indiana and would be more than happy to give you a shot at my car.. It is a camaro also but i won't back down... I am not sure how far i am from you but if you want a race their are plenty of cars up here that will run anytime but i would suggest you use the spraymoneypit94 said:

I tell you I haven't seen a camero yet around here that was worth my time.. Not saying that a camero is a bad car or anything just nobody has the money to make one go fast.. There are fast ones, but there are a very few that are daily drivers.. (either weekend warriors, or they are all out drag). This is just like any other competition out there. There is always going to be a faster car out there. The question is how much did you pay to be that fast.. Its just like all the ricers out there. There are going to be some that would smoke my doors clean off, but to do so they have to have some serious money or resources to do so... I have roughly 16,000 in my car (which is a nice chunk of change don't get me wrong). That includes the price of the car, wheels, custom built engine (still have fully assy. stock one sitting around), supercharger, etc.
Dollar for dollar and C.I. for C.I. you can't really compete with a mustang. I say C.I. for C.I. because if you take the 351 which did come stock in some 94 mustangs and match it up with the chevy "350". ITs funny how the tables turn with the last handicap removed.
Don't get me wrong on the money issue too... Im talking more on an average. Yes there will be some guys out there that manage to put a hell of a motor together for really cheap and throw it in some car they got for little to nothing... But I haven't seen a camero as nice as my mustang with a brand new 560 hp (soon to be over 600 i hope with my new tuner) engine come even close dollar wise to what i have in mine yet.
Then make the drive and find out how your 600 horsepower car stacks up to a camaro or a few others here... $ 16,000 is alot for a mustang but most the people i know including myself have alot more than that in our cars... And to the statement of the 350 vs the 351 all i have to say is LS1 and LT1 ... Show me some stats that prove the 351 is a bad motor and i will show you cars running mid 9s N/A with a 350 and under 400ci... If you don't like camaros then their are plenty of mustangs also all blown... One runs a 347 strocker with ported afr heads and ati procharger with a 100 shot ........ I looked it up just for fun and it's almost a 5 hour drive. Anyways, i think i will just post timeslips and dyno graphs for now. I have them posted on my website. You do the same... Or is that not proof enough? Or just come over to Cordova IL to the IHRA track there. I haven't even gotten new times with my supercharger but look to go mid to low 11's, possibley high 10's...
If your talking drag cars i will show you case after case of a NA 351 based motor <400 CI in the 9's. Drag cars vs street cars is like comparing apples and oranges...
I can show a NA 347 that runs Low 10's too. And its just a prodject car...

Yea i looked it up also and thats to far to drive for a drag race.. I have no problem posting #s and track times.. With my current setup i am shooting for mid11s N/A and 10s on a 150shot all in a 3850# convertibe W/O me in it... But anyway good luck with your setup and like you said their is always a faster car somewhere.... Just whoever has the most $ and knowledge wins....
