noise behind cluster 99 cobra

i have a noise right after shutting car off it is like a buzzing sound for about 4/5 seconds. a/c is turned off by the way.

that is caused by your pcv valve....I have the same problem. I get it replaced and it is good for a couple of days and then it goes out again. It is a never ending cycle. The people at the dealership are stumped....they just keep replacing it. Do you hear a noise by your intake too??? Kinda like it is letting out steam or something???

I find that the MACH 460 at 3/4 volume fixes my noises.

its the pcv valve as stated above. i have tried different brands, motorcraft, napa,... they all seem to make the noise. just learn to live with it

mickey.....is it just me or does the care seem to have a little less power while it makes that noise and then seems normal when it is replaced and functioning correctly???
