A few of you may remember me snapping an axle at the track. Well a week ago i got another axle, pulled the old one out, pulled the carrier out; got the piece that was broken in there out as well (everything looked alright visually except the axle), and i put it all back together and topped off the fluid.

I go for a drive and now im getting a womp womp womp womp sound from the rear end... the womp womp sound gets faster with speed. It also sounds like metal on metal which leads me to believe somethings is seriously broken. What else did i break and not know about or is it something simple that i overlooked? thanks guys

Are you sure your drive shaft is tight? Or maybe u joints. You could have damaged something else at the same time.

if you broke the axle you would of had alot more pressure on the bearing when the wheel was sticking out a foot from the car...and it would have probly damaged it..
