Hello, me again. As I was going to Wal-Mart I had noticed a strange noise in the front end of the car before but, not until today was it really noticeable. I mean a really loud growl in the front end and it got worse as the faster I would go the louder the growl got. It was loud enogh that everyone that was outside of their house's could here it. But if you turn the wheel a little left or the right it would go away. My dad said it was the wheel bearings in the front. Any suggestions would be nice.

thanks

It will still make the noise, the more the rpm's drop the noise will get progressively lower and lower. but still there, not as noticeable until about 15-20 mph.going straight

i agree that it's likely wheel bearings (front). I lost a rear wheel bearing once and I thought the back of the car was going to tear off (it was locking the wheel up periodically).

Of course when you get the car up on jack stands, give everything a once over - a bad ball joint, etc can toss things so out of whack that you get lots of noise.

Good luck.
