Noisy Clutch/Throwout????

Not sure what this is....but when its idling in nuetral, clutch in or out I hear a knock/rattle coming from the clutch area. I've heard it before but it would go away when the pedal is pushed in. Now it dont matter. I can feel some slight vibrations in the stick when Im sittin still too. Anyone experience this??

You have a bent clutch fork most likely.

That's my guess. Your clutch fork is rattling on the bellhousing and causing the noise and vibration. I would check that out first.

They're about $30 and you'll probably need a new pivot ball for the bellhousing. That's what the fork rides on. It's about $10.

Thanks for all your input. Looks like I'll be doing a clutchfork replacement and maybe a Steeda triple hook thingy ma bobber.(after Old Man Winter decides to leave!!!)

Adjust you clutch. I have had this problem with a new clutch and fork when my MM firewall adjuster would back off (since the MM unit has no jam nut), and the fork would rattle like crazy. When the clutch cable is loose the fork rests on the bellhousing and rattles.
