noisy rear

someone give me a clue how bad i screwed my car up,,i just got it out of storage 2 weeks ago from the winter,,it has 410 gears when i parked it it had just the faintest gear whine,when i got it out only on acceleration it whined so loud it was ear peircing,but when you left off the gas it was as quiet as can be,i was told it was a pinion bearing,,so i replaced both inner and outter pinion bearings,and both carrier bearings and all the races.,....now,,it whines pretty loud on acceleration but not near as bad and no whine at all when you leave off the gas....are the gears shot????

When you changed the bearings did you go through all the set-up again? Or did you just change the bearings out? You would have needed to do a complete rear set-up, with a new crush sleeve, doing the pinion depth & pre-load etc, etc, etc...

i did put a new crush sleeve and new pinion nut and all the seals,but i just put everything back in place,,so you think the baklash is off?,,i just dont get it that it wasnt like this before i parked it for the winter
