Hey Dark... I was at the Monsoon Madness last year and made the cruise down south. I made the Earnhardt show too. I'll be at the big one at Cards Stadium in Sept. That's a must.
I'm at Warner/Lindsay every other Friday night and the Pav's in Scottsdale at least once a month except summer.

Welcome to the madness. Down here at the halfway point on the southern route to Sandy Eggo. Got a brother in Chandler who used to sell 'Stang's like yours when they were brand-new. Now he loves his RAV4

If I ever get the '73 XR-7 (kinda like a Moose-stang) ready for a "cross-the-desert" trip, I'll have to come up for one of those shows.

:OT: Yeah, she's a regular "Battlestar Cleopatra" But, it's probably a good thing; since the Big Cat is first going to be driven by a 16-year-old girl who's driving habits can best be described as "Grandma was slow, but she was in a wheelchair." Actually, there's in little old lady in your town (around 1st Ave and Roger Road); retired schoolteacher that drives an '03 Camry with a license plate ring that reads "I'm Lost, But I'm Making Good Time!". This little old lady actually is my daughters' (living) Grandma. So maybe even a '73 Cougar isn't enough sheetmetal between the kid and the outside world.

If the car survives the girl; I'm gonna "play with it" a little; see if I can turn it into the automotive equivalent of the F4-J Phantom fighter- "General Electric's proof to the world that, given enough engine, even a brick can fly." Years ago, I had good luck doing that with a '73 Gran Torino (just as long and wide but not quite as heavy); be interesting to see if I can do that again...

Great pics, Hiker

Dark: The giant block does sound interesting, but I'm thinking of keeping the Cleveland. On it's rebuild, the PO (NoKitten) had the crank journals turned down .010 -serious rod knock had been the reason for the rebuild. Since the block's pretty doggone solid with it's .030 overbore; I'm thinking a new crank with a little bit longer throw, different rods and some better breathing heads.

Thx for the comments. The eng bay pic is old. Since then it's been detailed along with a new custom steel fuel line, custom copper oil pressure line, new wires neatly layed, re-routing of the heater core hoses, and 90degree PVC value.

The heads already flow good, 4v heads have even bigger ports. E'brock makes heads for the 351c too. Stroker kits for the 351c are a few hundred more than a similar one for a 351w.

Um based on previous experience most of your children take up your driving habits, so just because "we qualify everywhere we go" don't mean too much. Course, thats also prolly why I don't have the s-10 anymore, although I definitely miss that little truck now that gas prices are so high

BTW When does jess officially get the license ( just so I can call the people I like and warn them to stay off roads, sidewalks, or any other surface she may be on with the boat?)

Mine is the Laser Red with the micro copper metallic which looks very similar. I am by Power and Guadalupe. My son-in -law (03 GT) lives near Warner and Gilbert. My son (68 coupe-Laser Red w/stripes) is out in Queen Creek. I am entered in the Run to the Pines in Pinetop Sep 22-24. Boyd Coddington was there last year is supposed to be there again this year with several cars.

What is the date for the All Ford show? Where do you enter? The CMC show in October is the same day as the afternoon ASU/Stanford game. Having already paid for season tickets, I'm struggling with which one to attend.
