Hi,

New to this forum. I have a '94 GT VERT with some mods and wondering what tune will:

Correct speedo for gears 3:73 (I'm running an AOD w/ electronic cruise. I want to keep the cruise control)
Flip Switch for Nitrous tune & N/A tune
Max Power, Max Torque possible
Best Fuel economy possible

Mods are:
full synthetic oil, BBK headers, BBK underdrive pullies, MAC CAI, 70MM Pro-m mass air, MSD components including 6AL, Full Bassani exhaust, 70MM BBK/edlebrock TB, Cobra Upper, GT40 ported lower, stock heads, stock cam, hyper pathetic pistons, 125 shot wet kit!

I would also like to correct the known issues found in the 94-95 computer without switching to a fox body computer where I loose accessories and I would like to get the most out of what I have. It's a street car, so obviously no major rwhp will be seen here, but my hope is as close to 300 as possible in the heavy vert with hyper pistons. My engine has 100,000 miles on it and I'm sure some of it was not well maintained.

Opinions?

Pics of the car:

Nice looking car! A chip can do all that, except the speedo. Can't fix that - you need a different gear or I think a Speed Cal wll work. You probably won't get 300 RWHP with that combo withot the nitrous. You need a decent set of heads for that.

Thanks for the response. I was reading through 5.0 tech too and saw talk of the speed cal, what does it do? I know that my AOD doesn't have the tooth gear, and I did hear the chip is only good on 99+. Where can I buy the speed cal? Does it work in conjuction with the chip? If I get 260-270 rwhp out of this now, I'll be happy. Just for street cruising.

I think Dallas Mustang sells them and I think you can get them for 94-95's. Doesn't interfere with any chips because the EEC has notning to do with it.
