NooB with GT stock and mod parts question

Did "traction control" come on all '99 and up GT's, or is it an added option. Does it help? What are "2 new Conti's" listed as a modification? Thank you

my 99 gt does not have traction control so it must be an option

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS turn off the t/c when racing. It works by killing fuel to your engine which means you slow down.

Conti's are probably tires...as in Continental brand.

no traction control on my 99 gt, I think it came standard starting in 00 or 01.

not sure, i have it on my 02 GT for what it's worth.

and yeah, traction control is great when cornering in the rain

I usually keep my TC off unless it is really bad out.
