Noone ever told me i needed a waterpump pulley for my vortech.....

My car is almost completly done all i have to do is tap my oil pan and run oil lines. I was so hyped up about being able to drive to school on the last day but now it doesnt look like im going to be able to. I put my crank pulley on and then tried to put my water pump pulley but the one i got doesnt fit with the vortech crank pulley. Then i called up summit and its $93. So far heres how much i spent for the vortech install $1500 w/o shipping for what i was told was the complete setup. Then I had to but the vortech bracket, oil lines, and a couple other random hoses, costed me $455. Then $62 for parts for gauges and the MSD thing, And now i gotta pay $93 for 1 water pump pulley. Thats $2108 w/o the injectors, fuel pump and MAF. I dont know why im posting this but im pretty mad so i guess this is a vent. Im so glad i quit my job just in time to pay for all this, now im broke. ANYWAYS, anyone else know a good place for this pulley?

AGGHHHHH I just got an idea by maybe putting my stock pulley back on and id have clearance. It bolts up so i got really excited and then I put the belts on but it looks like the blower belt maybe rubbing. Oh well looks like im going to have to start saving my quarters for a pulley......

Should have bought mine it was complete for a little less plus I could have delivered it. Mine had a 94-95 Cobra water pump pulley (they are smaller then the GT's) which had a hogged out center for the thicker shaft. If you go this route then make sure it's exact or your in big trouble.

I have a 93 cobra water pump pulley just like RC and Vib do. Its cheap at the ford dealership and it works. All you have to do is bore out the center hole a little more for it to fit. You do that buy putting the pulleys facing each other then using bolts to secure both of them so they don't shift, then just bore out the whole.

Now you can drive the blown stang the last day of school!! Have fun!!
