Does anyone have one of these? What color (red, blue, green, amber) do you like best?

I was thinking about buying one, but I'd like to get some opinions about these first. Personally, I think blue or green would be best. I've only ever seen factory digital clusters in green. But I think blue would look awesome, like Autometer Cobalt gauges

What do YOU think?

i wouldn't. digital are hard to rear under heavy acceleration. unless they have a built in shift light.digital are cool but i only like then if there for the temp of the engine or the oil temp boost level but not to tell your speed or your rpm. the rpm gauge is what keeps me entertained on long car rides.........lol

I think I have a problem here.

I like it b/c of not having a speedo cable or jumpy needle. I have a rev limiter, so I dont have to worry about the tach not being "real-time" when I get on it.

whatever car i have like to have a tach for some reason. gives me something to watch on long road trips

but why do you want them anyways? yeah they look cool but do you drag race your car at all at the local strip.

but to each his own as they say.

no i dont drag race. yet.
ha, but seriously, i think having nice gauges is important.
and, im assuming these are accurate since theyre digital.
IMO this is better than keeping the stock cluster and surrounding it with autometer pieces.

besides, im doing a 2.3 to 5.0 swap, and need to replace the cluster anyway.
blue, green, red, or amber?

blue is supposedly the most plesant color on the eyes, and its pretty easy to read at night. if your headunit is blue as well, then i think it would look awesome. green isnt too eays to read and gives off a wierd glow sometimes...my 67 was green.

http://www.florida50.com/CL_87-93.htm

You could buy just the empty cluster and piece your choice of gauges together for less.

Empty Drilled Cluster Housings.……………………………….. $ 150.00

then buy your gauges used or new and save
