NOS Help.

Has anyone pieced together a nitrous kit? I have an carburated mustang and want a nitrous kit for it, but want to do it little by little since i have more than one project going right now. If anyone has done it help me out. I want to run at least a 100 shot.

Really all you would need would be a nitrous solonoid if you want to run a dry kit. A switch to open and close the solonoid(wot switch), a nozzle or plate to hook up to you carb,and then some hosing and a bottle. Im sure im missing something but thats the basics. Not to much involved.

I want to run a wet kit. What all would i need for that?

You will need a nitrous and a fuel solenoid. A purge vavle would be helpful also. You will also need a plate to put under your carb and a fuel regulator for the fuel solenoid. Plus a bottle and a hose and jets to adjust with. I still have a plate and a regulator and I think I have a fuel solenoid if you are interested, pm me.

what size line do i need?

Bottle,bottle brackets,adapter (goes on bottle, it threads the hose on),you can use -04AN but -06AN is better (main feed),into a t-fitting,into a gauge,into the purge solinoid,into the nitrous solinoid,-04AN in the carb plate or use hard line.

Fuel side is -06AN to a gauge fitting,into the fuel solinoid,-04AN line or hard line into the carb plate.

I recogmend having a fuel regulator for the nitrous fuel system,also a fuel pressure safty switch.The nitrous side will have a WOT switch.Even here,you still need a bottle heater,helps out big time.

Now what about the wiring and the switch, along with the button for the purge and the button for the nitrous?

Im not the greatest with wiring..fairly simple.
