Nitrous would be cheaper but if you can afford the supercharger I would go that way. Both are good tho, Im very jealous.

I'd go with a blower, specifically a KB.
Imagine your nitrous being empty just when you needed it most?
What a pain to have to go for refills.
If you have the choice, go with a S/C, IMO.

If you are set on getting a procharger... I'd definately get the D1 not the P1 which I hear has seal problems.

hey keep in mind fellas he said he had a 99 cobra engine and KB doesnt make a blower for it yet (gee its only been 5 years now) but they said if they get 25 deposits of $500 by jan 25th they will make one, but I beleive the count is only up to like 9-12?

Wow, I didn't even think of that. What would it take to put the 03 cobra blower on a 99 cobra

I havent read to much on it but I think you have to make the swap to the 03 heads and a few other things, maybe someone else knows the whole process. but I doubt its very cheap.

If you can afford it, I would go with boost over NOS any day of the week.

And come on KB, get on the stick with a darn kit allready! Sheesh!

Go with the D-1 and make over 500 rwhp easily. What is the rest of your setup?

DEFINATELY go with the blower. Come on, forged engine + all that airflow??? It's a blower's dream come true.

Or how about a twin turbo setup? :worship:

I had a friend with a 97 Cobra makig about 370 rwhp on a crappy tune and with belt slippage at 5-6 psi. The car has been wrecked. PM me if interested in the setup. I don't know if it will bolt right up to a 99.
