Well I washed my Mustang this past weekend and I am not a very happy person right now. My car has scratches on it's hood, roof, trunk, left front fender and left rear quarter panel. The deepest and longest scratches are in the quarter panel. I quit counting at 107 scratches. I don't know exactly what caused all the scratches, I do know that my neighbour's cats like to sun bathe on my car, right now that is pretty much what I think caused them all. I think I will be visiting a few body shops that I trust to get a few quotes to repair the car, then show my neighbours the pictures of their cats on my car. I will then be asking for them to pay for the damage done and I will be willing to take them to court over that. I just needed to rant because that is the only paint damage done to my car.

That could be a hard one to prove. Our area has tons of cats and all th owner are the same.

Cat owners seem to think it is ok for thier cats to crap in your yard and do damage to your property but as soon as they get a complaint from other people or the pound they are deeply offended.

Set some 'humane' traps up and hold the f$&@ing cats for ransom

...or use a handheld crossbow (cause its quiet), and hang the messed up cat from a tree in your front yard on display to the other cats (and neighbours) so they get the message to stay away. :ban:

...and let me know when your court date is in case you need some support, cause I hate cats that walk on vehicles too.

Don't get me wrong I have a cat also but, he stays inside and can't go out and crap and piss on other people's yards and flower beds. It's time for those who think its OK for their pets to roam free and crap and piss everywhere to take some responsibility for their pets. If they go to the pound, BOOHOO pay the fine and smarten up! I have a black silverado and I find f@#%&ng cat prints on it and I want to trap cats and make them disappear.

Well I like the Crossbow idea, I don't think that would go over very well for me. Perhaps putting a couple of small plates of antifreeze under the car would work. However I am going to put a stop to their cats coming over to my yard.

I know, even with the pics, I have a tough case to prove it was their cats that did the damage. I am going to talk to the 2 owners of the 4 cats. We will see what happens.

Once I get the car repainted though, I will be covering it everytime I am not using it.

Maybe try talking to the owner of the cat before you put any ****ing traps or poison out!!

You see, I have talked to both cat owner's in the past about this, when I first noticed minor scratches in the roof last summer. However, they haven't followed through what we agreed on in the past and more damage has been done as a result.

I have a plan on what I can do legally and what I intend to do. I am going to give them the option to pay for the damage or we are going to fight it out, which they won't like the result of that. I am not talking a fist fight here.

sounds like you need to go to WALLY WORLD and get you one of those 100 pump bb guns. either the cats will stop visiting your hood or you might be getting estimates bb holes and dents..... target practice is a good stress reliever...:uzi:

Airsoft wont damage the paint and you can get a full auto version for 40 bux :D.

I think you have the right idea by talking to the owners then persuing legal recourse. If that doesn't cut it I think making the cat disapear for a week should convince them that letting it out may be a bad idea. If a week doesn't work try a month. If you catch them on your roof try the elcheapo m16 airsoft rifle at can tire or walmart. It wont kill it but should convince it that it is in hostile teritory, with 400 fps it hurts alot and has a laser site and a scope.
