It could be the input shaft bearing that is what I am going thru with my 01 cobra I thought it was throw out but it was input shaft bearing same symtomschuckstang95 said:That ticking noise you hear is not the tranny, it is your trow out bearing. my last post must have not gone thru I have my 01 cobra in the shop right now they said if is only the input shaft bearing it will be $500 if they have to replace gears and syncros its $1000 worst case scenario I have a tremec 3650 in the cobra but I had the same prob on a ranger 5 speed I think was a toyo kogo and it lasted for years and yearschuckstang95 said:Ya, I heard a bad tob can harm your input shaft. how expensive and difficult is it to repair what you are talking about?
