Not enough HP for high stall converter??

did anyone have to get a computer tune with their TC? I have 97 gt and put a PI multi-disk in and had to get a custom tune for it to work correctly. Just wondering if anyone else had to as well.

Contact these people for any and all your questions about converters. IMO, these are 2 of the best in the buisness and I'm sure they could help you pick the right converter.
Read the FAQ on both pages. This will answer a lot of your questions.

This is one of the best mods you can do on an Auto car, choose your converter wisely and do not go the cheap route, you may regret it later.


Keep in mind stall speed isn't the only consideration in choosing a converter. A 12" 2800 stall converter isn't the same as a 9.5" 2800 stall. Check out the links above for more info.

Yes. you might require a tune to get the lock-up schedule correct.
