Not mustang, but need help with my assistants car

I have an assistant who constantly locks her keys in her car and or leaves her lights on. It is 10 year old or so cavalier. Are there not plug ins that will chime if either is left in or on? I'm trying to get her into a mustang, she almost broke when she saw a yellow convertable.

Why not just buy a hide a key and put it under the car somewhere.. A lot cheaper and easier than anything else....besides it is a 10 year old cavalier, not on the high priority list for stealing.

Why not buy her a door key pad...I got one for my son's 99 Ranger for about $89.

Most vehicles will chime if the keys are left in the ignition unless someone did like I did to my truck and pull the module out from underneath the dash. Might be a good place to start.

Yes, they do sell an add on chime module. I put one on my wife's Miata. I got it at an auto parts store, didn't cost much. It attaches at the fuse box if I remember right.

just ahve a spare key made and keep it in the office

with the headlights on i'm suprised it doesn't chime let alone with keys in it unless she sets them on the seat and even them it should chime for the lights...I agree with the key pad if she's able to add one to the vehicle they are very handy for situations like this.
