WOW!!! Thats pretty cool. I would probably be going nuts too. If I had time I would have waited for them to come out and see if I could get a ride. They probably are pretty strict with that sort of stuff though. Hmmm...I wonder how they get those jobs. Cant beat driving around in a car that isnt out yet.

Am I the 1st civilian that has actually "touched" one of these ?!?!?!?! I mean not at SEMA or at the Superbowl...or even a "friend of a friend..." ...

CAN YOU TELL I AM ****TING MY PANTS STILL OF EXCITMENT!!!

Notice anything weird on the passenger side dash?!?!?! I did, there was a big ass red button to shut the car off....

...and there was a piliar gauge that had something to do with vacuum presssure or something. It wasn't a PSI boost gauge that I know...oh and the laptop and big anntena on the trunk of both of them. Sattelite Communication maybe? I'll let you deceide...

Awesome man. Thanks for the hard work.

Why didn't you call a tow truck and say that your new Mustang needed to be towed back to your house. How awesome would that be, well all 4 hours of it anyway.

Seriously, I'd try to steal one.....

Thats pretty cool...

However, the more I see of the new Mustang the better I feel about my Mach purchase. The interior is sweet, the exterior is pretty ugly imo.. The cow paint has nothing to do with my opinion.. Or the wheels.. Maybe it will grow on me.. But at this point I'm pretty apathetic towards it.

Good job with the pics. I'm with MachOut though. Everytime I see a pick of the 05 I am more happy with having bought an 03 vert instead. This may change once I drive one of course but the look just isn't for me.

The red button is for an emergency shut off. Usually hooked up to the fuel system. Those are pre-preproduction mules with lots of "unproven" parts.

I think all that gear is to track EVERYTHING that goes on in the car. Like was stated earlier, they have alot of untested stuff they are trying to break. I wouldn't be surprised if they were told to drive the crap out of them and TRY to break stuff. They are testing the "real world conditions". I asked my uncle that works for the military and he said that's exactly what they do to them after they do all the testing they can in the labs/factories. What I would give to be one of those guys.

should have broken the window and stole the gt and gave it a paint job and then you could have been the first person with a 2005 mustang

Looks like the reason for the cow print is to fool cameras' focusing systems.
Whatever it looks like the shots came out fine to me.

You know, now that I look at that link in 00vert Gt's post I swear that the one I looked at is the exact same one...what was interesting and maybe the pictues don't show...there was velcrow(sp?) glued everywhere on the roof and sides but nothing attached. If you look at 00vert's link there is that body molding...

Anyawy, glad you like the recon job...I wasn't about to let what I saw just go about on a whim and not have proof, ya know?

There is a Lambo and Farrari (sp) lot next to where i work should grab some pics too? Didn't if you guys would want to see them or not.

i saw those cars too! they were going down the greenway a few weeks ago!!!

now, in my opinion ford is because they still have no quality control, look at the way the trunk mates up on the left side.

and also because of the big ass antenna they equip the cars with. not to mention the rear end is just ugly. ford needs to get with it.

Last thursday I was driving by a place that tests driveshafts and I noticed on the test track there was a '05 mustang Gt!! I about crashed when I saw it. It looked just like the one in those pictures, but it had alot of sensors mounted on the sides. It looked like they were testing 0-60, because when I drove past at about 50mph he was standing still and next thing I know he was hauling A** on the track directly acrossed from the road I was on!!
