not your typical idle problem,please help

i put a new cobra upper and lower on my car last week,this included a professional products 70mm tb and a c@l 76 mm massair kit with aluminum down tube. when we got everything bolted back together it started on contact,but idled at 1500 rpm instead of the normal 750 rpm.when i put into drive,{blasted aod},instead of falling to 650-700,it only drops to 900 and i have to hold the brake hard or it wants to take off,.its not irradic its just to darn high and i cant get it to go down.

I'd check over the hoses for a vacuum leak.

if it surges vacuum leak.
If it's just a constant high idle i'd take a look @ the TPS and then onto the IAC.
best of luck these idle issues can be a pain.
